Our Privacy Promise: Your financial data is sensitive. Cashmonki is designed with a privacy-first approach, prioritizing on-device storage, minimal data sharing, and transparent data practices.

3. Data Storage and Security
Local-First Storage
All transaction data is stored locally on your device using secure iOS storage
Sensitive credentials and API keys are stored using the iOS Keychain
You may delete or export data at any time

4. Third-Party Services
AI Receipt Processing (via OpenRouter and secure backend)
Purpose: Convert receipt images into structured transaction data
Data Sent: Receipt images transmitted securely for analysis
Processing: Images pass through Cashmonki’s own secure backend before going to the AI provider
Retention: No images are permanently stored by AI providers
No personal identifying data is included
All communication is encrypted

7. Children’s Privacy
Cashmonki does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover such data, we will delete it promptly.

Your data may be processed in regions where our service providers operate (primarily the United States). We apply appropriate safeguards to comply with GDPR and other international privacy laws.
